1959 Porsche 356A/1600S Reutter Cabriolet

Porsche completed only 581 1600S Super Reutter Cabriolets. They ranged from Chassis No. 150950 to 151531. This particular example was the 388th of the 581 built. The more powerful and utterly elegant late 1600 Super, 356A Cabriolets offer the best of both worlds, excellent performance and handling with timelessly beautiful open-top driving.

 According to the Porsche Factory records, this particular example was completed and ready for delivery to the States on October 24th, 1958 with delivery the last week of December. It was and extremely “high-specification” or “well-optioned” example, in fact a total of 12 different options were ordered in addition to the rare 1600S Super Engine.

 It would be simply impossible to find a more beautiful, authentic or accurately restored example at any price.
